2026 Family Orientation - Transfer

Welcome to Texas Longhorn Transfer Family Orientation! 🤘
We’re excited to welcome you to the Longhorn family! This form is your first step to register for Transfer Longhorn Orientation, where you’ll learn what to expect and how to stay connected as your student begins their journey at UT Austin. Thanks for getting started—we’re glad you’re here!

Before you begin, please note the following:

  • THIS EVENT IS ONLY FOR PARENTS/FAMILIES WHO HAVE STUDENTS WHO ARE TRANSFERRING FROM ANOTHER UNIVERSITY (if your student just graduated from high school you will need to attend Family Orientation for incoming freshmen).
  • You’ll need your student’s UT EID to register.
  • Please do not register your student for Transfer Family Orientation—this registration form is only for parents and families.
  • All Transfer Family Orientation registrations are non-refundable.
  • If you need to change sessions or add registrants after submitting your registration, please email Texas Parents at familyorientation@austin.utexas.edu rather than submitting a new form.
